Lady Gaga is an American pop singer-songwriter. Gaga has been included in Time magazine's annual Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world as well as being listed in a number of Forbes' annual lists. Oprah Winfrey is best known for her self-titled, multi-award winning talk show, which has become the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. Jonathan Ive, is a British designer and the Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple Inc. He is the principal designer of the iMac, titanium and aluminum PowerBook G4, MacBook, unibody MacBook Pro, iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Lady Gaga’s contributions to the music industry have garnered her numerous achievements including five Grammy Awards, among twelve nominations; two Guinness World Records and the estimated sale of 15 million albums and 51 singles worldwide. Credited with creating a more intimate confessional form of media communication, Winfrey is thought to have popularized and revolutionized the tabloid talk show genre pioneered by Phil Donahue, which a Yale study claims broke 20th century taboos and allowed LGBT people to enter the mainstream. Ive was the winner of the Design Museum's inaugural Designer of the Year award in 2002, and won again in 2003. In 2004, he was a juror for the award. On 18 July 2007, Ive received the 2007 National Design Award in the product design category for his work on the iPhone.
